The brilliant and brave Mark Cooper and Simon Morgan will be cycling from Big Ben to Casemates Square, Gibraltar over 14days from the 4th to the 18th July 2015. The expedition will take 14 days and cover a total of 1500miles all to raise money for Cancer Relief Centre Gibraltar and The Gibraltar Disability Society.
Mark says “Please dig deep for me for this worthwhile cause, whether you respect the fact I’m doing this challenge or just to see me pushing through the pain barrier and knowing at the end of the day “I will be blowing” Please donate.”
Before the challenge starts, Mark and Simon will be raising money through various fundraising events. These include:
- Saturday 9th May : The Med steps challenge – The aim of the challenge is to climb up the med steps 5 times in a day. Entry fee is £10 and T shirts will be sold on the day at a very reasonable price. There will be prizes raffled for all those that finishes this challenge. To sign up, all you have to do is attend the stand at Jews Gates. We will be there from 9am to Sunset.
- Saturday 23rd May: 80’s Night at Lord Nelson – Let your inner 80s child out and join us for a fabulous 80s night! Try and beat Cancer Relief’s 80s styles even if you were in nappies (or not even thought of) during the 80s! For £10 you get entrance ticket which includes a glass of cava and buffet.
