Daniela Ayre is our day services nurse manager . Daniela achieved her basic studies in healthcare in 2002 and returned to education in 2010 to achieve a 1st class distinction degree in Nursing. She has worked in healthcare and nursing for over 12 years, starting off her career in health promotion and then transitioning into nursing. Daniela has worked in many different fields, but has focused on palliative and end of life care. Her passion for caring for people at home with chronic and terminal illnesses, led her to work in homecare, supporting families and patients in the last stages of life. Daniela joined the Cancer Relief Team on the 1st October 2014, as the Hospice at Home Nurse, providing respite and end of life care to cancer patients who wish to be cared for in their home. In 2016, she moved on from this role to run the day services and manage day to day life at the Centre.
